About...
Suzette and Inspired Web Presence
 |
I've been designing and building websites for small and medium businesses since
2003.
In the beginning, some excellent teaching on the basics got me started, and
then, once I outgrew the teacher, I became self-taught... learning what I needed to know, as
I went along.
Now, I have a steady stream of website clients coming in, with no
advertising or promotion of any kind... all word of mouth.
|
I didn't even have a website for my own business until recently. (Don't look to
closely... this site is just a quick, temporary one while I design and build a good
one). I didn't need the leads, as I've been kept busy enough with referrals.
I am still very busy with referrals, but I decided to put up a quick site to give my new
clients an example of my work. Plus, when it's done, it will save me time by providing answers to
commonly-asked questions, and resources they can easily download themselves.
Also, it helps my new clients get to know their new webmaster!
The Creative Part - 'Inspired'
I really enjoy the creative aspect of website design, having been a graphic artist in the past,
and loving to draw and paint since I could hold a pencil and a brush!
Other than photos or graphics that my clients provide, I create all my own graphics. I love
'PhotoShop' and 'Flash'!
My favourite part of the creative process, for me, is receiving inspiration for a new design.
That inspiration can come from anywhere...
 |
from something the client tells me about himself/herself or his/her business,
or |
 |
their logo, or |
 |
their existing marketing materials, or |
 |
from analyzing their competition, or |
 |
from keyword research, or |
 |
...wherever! |
Some people may not 'get' this, but often for me, it's like the project 'tells me' what it wants
to look like. I call that... inspiration.
And, that's why I called my business 'Inspired' Web Presence.
The Construction Part
The building end of website development gives me a great sense of accomplishment.... I take
pride in each and every project, building each site with care, as if it were my own.
Wordpress, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop and I are very close buddies! And, I have a few other
good 'buds' (programs) on my team, too.
And so, between the creative end of the design process, and the sense of accomplishment from the
construction end... it's a win-win.
Win-Win-Win!
And then, it becomes a win-win...win, when my clients are thrilled with their custom websites
and their top ten search engine ratings, not to mention the personal attention and customer service they
receive!!
Contact me today and let's get your
new website started.
Onward and upward!
This year, I am taking my business in a new direction, so I am in the process of developing a new website that
will reflect the expansion of my services to Internet marketing consulting. The new site is at www.DesJardinsNuMedia.com . As I mentioned, it's still under construction.
The new consulting service is proving to be so popular that I have been too busy with clients to finish building
the site!
I am very excited about this consulting business. I can help business owners so much more with my
new expertise and certification in Internet marketing, specializing in social media, which is huge nowadays!
I will be able to show businesses how they can slash their advertising budgets, while
simultaneously increasing their sales!
And, I'm also happy to announce that I'm getting into the Mobile end of things, too. Billions of
mobile phone users world-wide make this industry a must for my consulting business. So, I've been studying
mobile marketing, text message marketing, blue-tooth technology for proximity marketing, and mobile
applications.
I'll tell you all about it on the new site, once it's finished, that is! ;o)
In the meantime, you can contact me anytime, if you'd like more info about the possibilities for marketing your
business with today's exciting, effective and affordable new strategies.
Or, if you just need a website for now, let's discuss your website project. You can tell me what you have in
mind, and I can tell you what I can help you accomplish... both short term and as your business grows.
Give me a call. We'll explore the possibilities!
